Darlithydd yn Adran y Gyfraith a Throseddeg Prifysgol Aberystwyth yw Dr Catrin Fflûr Huws. Arbenigedd Catrin fel ymchwilydd yw cydraddoldeb ieithyddol gyda sylw penodol i statws gyfreithiol yr iaith Gymraeg. Cyflawnodd ei doethuriaeth ym Mhrifysgol Cymru Aberystwyth yn 2006 ar y Defnydd o'r Iaith Gymraeg yn y llysoedd, ac ers hynny y mae wedi cyflawni gwaith ar dai fforddiadwy a chymunedau Cymreig, creu a dehongli deddfwriaeth ddwyieithog ac oblygiadau methiant i wneud hynny yn foddhaol. Y mae Catrin wedi bod yn Gadeirydd y Ganolfan Materion Cyfreithiol Cymreig ym Mhrifysgol Aberystwyth ers 2007 ac mae wedi arwain gwaith yr adran ar y persbectif Cymreig ar faterion cyfreithiol o fewn system gyfreithiol Cymru a Lloegr, ac i sicrhau fod datblygiadau Cymreig yn digwydd o fewn cyd-destun ehangach datblygiadau yn y DU, Ewrop ac yn Genedlaethol. Yn 2007 cyhoeddodd y Ganolfan y cyfnodolyn cyfreithiol cyntaf i fod yn llwyr ddwyieithog, a bydd cyfrol o'r Cambrian Law Review ar gyfraith Cymru yn ymddangos yn 2015. Y mae'n cydlynu'r llyfryddiaeth ar ddatganoli, sef ffynhonnell gynhwysfawr o ffynhonellau ar ddatganoli yn y DU. Y mae Catrin hefyd wedi ysgrifennu gwerslyfr, Texts, Cases and Materials on Equity and Trusts, ac mae bellach yn cyd-ysgrifennu'r gwerslyfr cyfrwng Cymraeg cyntaf erioed ar y pwnc.
